About Wonders of Japan

Japan travel and culture, curated and gathered in one place.

Planning a trip to Japan usually means opening twenty tabs: one for trains, one for temples, one for the cherry blossom forecast, one for etiquette. Wonders of Japan exists to put the best of that information in one beautiful, trustworthy place.

Who we are

Wonders of Japan is a personal project created by Delfin, a digital marketer based in Dubai. It started with a simple aim: to help travellers, readers and researchers find curated Japan travel information and the stories behind the country’s wonders without the clutter.

What you will find here

  • The 100 Wonders of Japan: landmarks and landscapes, each with a full photo story.
  • Practical guides: trains, budgets, itineraries, money and etiquette in plain language.
  • Seasonal timing: when to catch cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, snow and festivals.
  • Culture and history: clear explainers for curious minds and students.

How our guides are made

Every guide is researched against official sources such as the Japan National Tourism Organization, local tourism associations and the attractions themselves, and each article lists its sources. We use AI tools to help research and draft, and every article is reviewed and edited by a person before it is published. Read our editorial policy for the details.

How the site is funded

Wonders of Japan is free to read. To cover running costs, some pages show advertising and some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. This never decides what we recommend. See our affiliate disclosure.
